THC Infused Peanut Butter Chocolate Reese’s Puffs Cereal Cake with Edra Izzo – Smokingedra

Reese’s Puff Cereal on top of a Chocolate Cake covered in melted THC peanut butter and chocolate chips!

Hi guys! Edra Izzo here! This recipe is actually a really fun one! I thought it up because of a lack of cereal in the house. I know, I know, I admit it; I am a cereal killer. It doesn’t even make me sad anymore. It’s part of life and the natural cycle of things. Cereal was created for the soul purpose of my enjoyment and consumption. It sounds harsh, but it’s the truth and we cant sugar coat it anymore than it already is; except, flaky corn variations and I guess, when you put it on top of a cake!

I would hope by now you’ve read my other posts and learned the way I cook, maybe you even stumbled upon the video on TheWeedTube entitled THC Infused Peanut Butter Chocolate Reese’s Puffs Cereal Cake with Edra Izzo – Smokingedra Where you can WATCH me do this too! You know me, my suggestion would be BOTH! You get a better review of the cooking experience, I’m a little camera shy still; eh, let’s face it, I’m really just shy in general once I get used to things and this stuff is always new…. Maybe that’s what keeps us all coming back?? Probably.

Well, let’s move on the recipe.

Ingredients:

  • Boxed chocolate cake (you pick a brand)
Dont use all the ingredients on the box… check below before purchasing and continuing on.
  • 3 Eggs
  • Reese’s, Puffs Cereal (there’s 2 instagram links hence the , jsyk)
  • 1/3 cup AppleSauce
  • Olive Oil or something equivalent
  • Chocolate Chips
  • Peanut Butter
  • THC infused Peanut Butter (optional) I used Mystery Baking brand Indica infused Peanut Butter
** (thc can be in any of the ingredients so if you don’t have peanut butter but you do have thc olive oil you can just substitute at your leisure/tolerance)**

Directions: Start with a Clean Space Always!

  1. Wash your hands before, during and after. Wash your hands everytime you go somewhere besides the kitchen, when you reach into a cabinet or drawer, or when they are dirty. Wash your hands if you are sweaty or sticky or smelly. Soap is your best friend and a clean towel designated before starting any cooking or baking is the way to go.
  2. Preheat the oven to whatever temperature it says on the box of your chosen brand.
  3. Begin mixing ingredients, theres no order, it all goes in. I don’t care about what those pros tell you with mixing dry and wet and then the too… that is just too much mixing when the result is the same. Mix your shit together.
**Get a big enough bowl! Seriously contemplate it before you begin, bigger is better, trust me.**
  4. Lube the pan! Choose a method, style, and lubrication method of your preference. I use my fingers and chose olive oil. Get it nice and good, everywhere. Don’t miss a spot. This is real life and real serious. Your cake’s life depends on this step.
  5. Fill the lubes cake pans. I will look something like this…

  6. You should look something like this…
  7. And you will put these in the oven that you had preheating.
  8. Cook these 8min LESS than the directions say.. you will come and check on these when the timer is up.
***you should know how to check these because of the previous posts but if you don’t, stick a toothpick in the middle and when it comes out clean then its cooked.***
  9. Warm Up the peanut butter and chocolate chips in a mug in the microwave.. or however you deem fit.
  10. Flip over those cakes onto a plate. It’s cool it they break.. mine did. Check it out here! It’s going to be covered with cereal remember, no one will see.
  11. After getting one cake out of the pan spread some chocolate peanut butter goodness all over the top of it.
  12. Put the second cake right one top of it. If you only made one cake then skip this step.
  13. Spread more chocolate peanut butter goodness all over the top and sides of the cake. Its gonna be messy but that’s the fun part! If you wanna see for yourself, We can make a mess together here!
  14. After chocolate is spread on top and sides of cake, put the Reese’s Puffs Cereal all over the cake. Cover it up. You dont want to see very much cake at all. This will make a mess and you have permission to eat all the pieces that fall onto the counter (you should have started with a clean space you know.)
  15. Eat this cake!!!! You did well. Eat with caution though, you might get high!!

I hope you enjoyed this recipe! Comment and let me know if theres anything that you did different or just any comments you might have! Happy cooking!

CBD Tablet Blueberry Muffins

Hello again Edra Izzo here!

We find ourselves with another yummy recipe. Going with the flow of the previous mentioned inspiration, Sandra Lee’s Semi Homemade we are using boxed muffins (my favorite boxed muffins) and then some other stuff that you probably already have.

Ingredients:

  • CBD Product (For this recipe I used 150mg crushed CBD Advanced Isolate Tablets)
  • Jiffy Box Blueberry Muffin Mix
  • 1/3 cup Applesauce
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/4 cup Vanilla Almond Milk

First things first, wash your hands and work area. Make sure that you have enough room to drop something on the counter and not knock anything else off.

***When working with expensive distillates make sure you are careful.***

I crushed my CBD Advanced Tablets before I made the mix. I used 150mg of CBD. I chose the Tablets this time to get a more accurate measurement of how much CBD I was using. (Check for updates on the link to purchase some of your own tablets)

Then, I used Jiffy Blueberry Muffin Mix. I substituted the boxed ingredients. and used Vanilla Almond Milk instead of water. I also added applesauce because I like my cake moist.

***You’ll notice that I add applesauce often, I highly recommend trying it at least once. Applesauce is great for substituting oil or eggs***

Oil the pan before using.

This is a MUST if you want your cakes to come out easy. There is no real over oiling. Make sure not to see a lot pooled in your pan though. Use a towel, paper towel (sugarcane) or even another piece of food to get any pooled oil before pouring mix.

I could only fill up 8 muffins. Making each muffin a total of 18.5mg each. I cooked them at 350°F even though the box said 400°F.

I set the timer for 10min to check on them. I actually cooked them for about 13min.

*** Are you wondering if they are fully cooked? Use a toothpick. Poke the middle of one or all the cakes. If it comes out clean it is cooked.***

Thank you so much for reading my blog! Let me know in the comments if you tried this recipe and how it turned out for you. Did you do anything different than what I did?

Happy cooking!!
