THC Infused Peanut Butter Chocolate Reese’s Puffs Cereal Cake with Edra Izzo – Smokingedra

Reese’s Puff Cereal on top of a Chocolate Cake covered in melted THC peanut butter and chocolate chips!

Hi guys! Edra Izzo here! This recipe is actually a really fun one! I thought it up because of a lack of cereal in the house. I know, I know, I admit it; I am a cereal killer. It doesn’t even make me sad anymore. It’s part of life and the natural cycle of things. Cereal was created for the soul purpose of my enjoyment and consumption. It sounds harsh, but it’s the truth and we cant sugar coat it anymore than it already is; except, flaky corn variations and I guess, when you put it on top of a cake!

I would hope by now you’ve read my other posts and learned the way I cook, maybe you even stumbled upon the video on TheWeedTube entitled THC Infused Peanut Butter Chocolate Reese’s Puffs Cereal Cake with Edra Izzo – Smokingedra Where you can WATCH me do this too! You know me, my suggestion would be BOTH! You get a better review of the cooking experience, I’m a little camera shy still; eh, let’s face it, I’m really just shy in general once I get used to things and this stuff is always new…. Maybe that’s what keeps us all coming back?? Probably.

Well, let’s move on the recipe.

Ingredients:

  • Boxed chocolate cake (you pick a brand)
Dont use all the ingredients on the box… check below before purchasing and continuing on.
  • 3 Eggs
  • Reese’s, Puffs Cereal (there’s 2 instagram links hence the , jsyk)
  • 1/3 cup AppleSauce
  • Olive Oil or something equivalent
  • Chocolate Chips
  • Peanut Butter
  • THC infused Peanut Butter (optional) I used Mystery Baking brand Indica infused Peanut Butter
** (thc can be in any of the ingredients so if you don’t have peanut butter but you do have thc olive oil you can just substitute at your leisure/tolerance)**

Directions: Start with a Clean Space Always!

  1. Wash your hands before, during and after. Wash your hands everytime you go somewhere besides the kitchen, when you reach into a cabinet or drawer, or when they are dirty. Wash your hands if you are sweaty or sticky or smelly. Soap is your best friend and a clean towel designated before starting any cooking or baking is the way to go.
  2. Preheat the oven to whatever temperature it says on the box of your chosen brand.
  3. Begin mixing ingredients, theres no order, it all goes in. I don’t care about what those pros tell you with mixing dry and wet and then the too… that is just too much mixing when the result is the same. Mix your shit together.
**Get a big enough bowl! Seriously contemplate it before you begin, bigger is better, trust me.**
  4. Lube the pan! Choose a method, style, and lubrication method of your preference. I use my fingers and chose olive oil. Get it nice and good, everywhere. Don’t miss a spot. This is real life and real serious. Your cake’s life depends on this step.
  5. Fill the lubes cake pans. I will look something like this…

  6. You should look something like this…
  7. And you will put these in the oven that you had preheating.
  8. Cook these 8min LESS than the directions say.. you will come and check on these when the timer is up.
***you should know how to check these because of the previous posts but if you don’t, stick a toothpick in the middle and when it comes out clean then its cooked.***
  9. Warm Up the peanut butter and chocolate chips in a mug in the microwave.. or however you deem fit.
  10. Flip over those cakes onto a plate. It’s cool it they break.. mine did. Check it out here! It’s going to be covered with cereal remember, no one will see.
  11. After getting one cake out of the pan spread some chocolate peanut butter goodness all over the top of it.
  12. Put the second cake right one top of it. If you only made one cake then skip this step.
  13. Spread more chocolate peanut butter goodness all over the top and sides of the cake. Its gonna be messy but that’s the fun part! If you wanna see for yourself, We can make a mess together here!
  14. After chocolate is spread on top and sides of cake, put the Reese’s Puffs Cereal all over the cake. Cover it up. You dont want to see very much cake at all. This will make a mess and you have permission to eat all the pieces that fall onto the counter (you should have started with a clean space you know.)
  15. Eat this cake!!!! You did well. Eat with caution though, you might get high!!

I hope you enjoyed this recipe! Comment and let me know if theres anything that you did different or just any comments you might have! Happy cooking!

CBD and THC Unique Yellow Cake

I like cake. I didn’t always. I guess it’s an acquired taste for me. Thusly, I started to learn about baking in efforts to understand what it was that I didnt like about cake. I mean come on, its cake! Present day and I’ve made my fair share of cake. This here is a recipe that’s like Sandra Lee’s Semi-Homemade. Where nothing was fully from scratch but it had your own twist and was very amazing to eat. That’s how I cook now.

This recipe is for 21+ persons of age (unless medically/legally allowed otherwise specified to you individually by officials with said power)

The ingredients you will need:

1 boxed cake mix (we will substitute the ingredients that the box suggests)

3 eggs

1 cup of unsweetned applesauce

1/3 cup of Vanilla Almond Milk

Guild Extracts Pure CBD Crystalline

THC infused Olive Oil

Icing and sprinkles (optional)

Cake Pans (I used 2 9inch pans and followed cooking directions on box)

Of course, wash your hands first.

**Preform all cooking preparations on a clean and clear surface. Allow for enough room to drop something onto the table without knocking anything else off.**

**When working with expensive concentrates you don’t want to waste anything because of accidents. Always use precaution when setting utensils down and make sure to properly close lids.**

Use enough THC olive oil to coat the entirety of the pans. You want to coat the bottom of the pan along with the sides. Leave no part uncoated with oil. To avoid messes and have a pretty cake this is a MUST. Your cake will fall apart or tear itself out of the pan if you do not lubricate enough.

Substitute applesauce instead of boxed cake’s added oil, and use vanilla almond milk instead of water.

**If you do not want to use eggs you can use more apple sauce and almond milk. The consistancy should be that of a cake no matter the method.**

I used that much CBD inside the mix, use what you see fit. CBD is non-psychoactive and will not get you high. They say that consuming CBD counter acts some of the high effects produced from consuming THC so depending on your tolerance and what you’re doing with your day you might want to add more CBD or less. This was an experiment so I just used that much.

Mix well into the cake batter before pouring into pans.

Bake in oven at 350°F or whatever the cake box says. Check on your cake before the time the box says. I use a toothpick in the middle of each cake to make sure it’s done. If your toothpick comes out of the cake clean then you’re done.

Introduction

A little bit about me and why I’m writing a blog

Hello everyone. Edra Izzo here! I’m starting a blog to document my Amazing Adventures in Cannabis! I like to bake. So really I’ll be baking with cannabis related products including CBD, and THC (&possible variants of)

I currently ingest cannabis for medical reasons although I haven’t renewed my medical card, since, it’s totally 2019 now. 😋 On a serious note, I’ve recently realized that a lack of CBD in my body doesn’t help my medical situation. Constantly consuming CBD by various and all methods (vaping, ingesting and regular smoking) gives me a balanced feeling and allows my muscles to be less tense. I feel calm and happy and content and can move freely and don’t have so much pain. I don’t consume cannabis to get high on a daily and normal basis with the intent to get high. My journey with this magical plant started solely for health and wellness benifits when I turned 18. At age 19 I stopped to see if it was real, or if possibly just placebo. Needless to say I do see and feel a real change because of the addition of cannabis and it’s related isolates and derivatives into my life.

Lots of stuff happened. Then, we moved! My boyfriend bought a house February 2019 (yay!) and on 4/20/19 I found TheWeedTube, a revelation that has changed my life.

I’ve always dabbled in modeling gigs. Nothing super main stream but I did a couple photoshoots as well as a couple local Runway Model type shows because I’m a cosmetologist and hair shows are a thing. (Yes I do have my cosmetology license and currently work more on skin than I do hair.) I’ve dabbled in social media and took a couple marketing and business classes at my local college, along with my mother basically raising me to be a sales and marketing guru. With the new year comes a “New Me,” so I took the opportunity to combine my knowledge and become a modern day Influencer; which is interesting say the least. Gathering upon my talents I took to making videos that very next day and on 4/21/19 my very first video 420 Holidaze Goodies was created, edited and uploaded. The birth of my online identity as we know it was created. In a way I guess it’s like a birthday. The day that Edra Izzo was announced to the world! But really, it was a huge part of myself opening up to everyone and to allow anyone who thinks I’m entertaining to tune in and be apart of what I create. (Weird thought really.)

This documentation is for everyone but especially for me. I’m not trying to change my life into being an entertaining figure that changes her moods, styles, and likes just because her audience tells her too. My tribe will find me. I know you’re all there. So to offer up part of myself just for the connection, and just for the ability to see where I have been is a choice I definitely sat on. This has been a stew brewing for a long time and is now finally being able to get served. Pardon the seasoning we will do that all together.

Here we are then. The creation of this blog is happening. It’s happening now, because I love to bake and now that we’ve gotten a house, we have room. With room comes inspiration, and inspiration leads me to a well of creation. That is where we find ourselves now. Creating. Whatever my mind can think of. Because why not? Because someone might actually like it. Because it might not go anywhere but it’s kind of therapeutic and nobody has time for those types of payments. All these differnet movements and I’m just going to make my own. Get up. Go out. Stay home. Do something that you always struggled to do. Sharing myself and my ideas and opinions with the world has felt like taboo, especially when cannabis is concerned. I’ve been a child in a parent’s world. Besides they say the world is not made for a kind like mine. But what world really is? So I’m taking my power back. I’m taking my world back. With my little blog and my video channels my voice will be heard by maybe 2 people, but definitely by me. I will have some solid thing to come back to and check. I will have the progress. A digital age comes with digital communication. Sitting here, typing my thoughts out, I’m connecting with my subconscious. All these acts combined to get a little of my soul out there, hopefully to show you that you’re allowed to put a little of your soul into the world too. I hope you enjoy my recipies and articles.

You are all brave warriors, and we are on an amazing adventure called life. Now let’s get into the fun parts with Edra’s Cooking With Cannabis!
